Purex use specialised combinations of filter media in the Purex Alpha Replacement main filters. These capture particles, gases and vapours generated by individual processes such as soldering. Each filter has a unique serial number and is individually tested and certified to ensure performance and safety. The Purex Alpha fume extraction system is supplied with a choice of main filters.
Main filter key features:
- Purex HEPA filter elements are precision manufactured from a pleated material that incorporates reinforcing strips. These separate the pleats and help prevent airflow vibration or collapse.
- Chemical filters absorb a wide variety of gases and vapours
- HEPA/ Chemical filters filter small particles down to 99.997% down to 0.3 microns in size and absorb a wide variety of gases and vapours
- HEPA/Twin chemical filters filter small particles down to 99.997% down to 0.3 microns in size and absorb a wide variety of gases and vapours particularly from rubber engraving or acidic gas applications
- HEPA filters filter small particles down to 99.997% down to 0.3 microns in size
- HEPA/ Chemical cleanroom filters absorb a wide variety of gasses and vapours and filters small particles of 99.997% down to 0.3 microns in size. Specifically designed for use in cleanrooms, and must be used in conjunction with F8 and F9 pre-filters.
