Advanced Manufacturing Services Limited (AMS) are delighted to announce a partnership with Electronics Yorkshire, the U.K.’s premier IPC and soldering training centre.
AMS have supplied a full complement of Thermaltronics soldering irons, soldering stations, rework equipment and hotplates to allow trainees to experience the very latest and the very best in soldering and rework technology.
Stuart Flack, MD of Electronics Yorkshire, said he had become increasingly aware of Thermaltronics when many of the trainees indicated that Thermaltronics soldering irons were their company’s choice. Intrigued, Stuart asked AMS for a demonstration of the equipment and was so delighted with the performance and also with the support he received from AMS that he immediately decided to replace all his existing equipment.
Electronics Yorkshire offer IPC courses covering all areas of electronics manufacturing; inspection, soldering, rework soldering, quality control etc.
Training can be offered at their impressive training centre in Yorkshire or courses may be tailored and given at the customer’s own site.
The practical nature of the the IPC J-STD-001 and 7711/21 courses offered helps the trainee to fully understand the IPC requirements and the use of the very latest Thermaltronics technology ensures trainees are fully prepared with their new skills.
