IPA Wipes (100% IPA or 70% IPA/ 30 % D.I. Water)
IPA Wipes are available either with 100% IPA or with a 70% IPA 30 % D.I. Water mix. Both pre-saturated wipes are suitable for general cleaning applications. IPA wipes can be used for general disinfection and surface preparation for painting or application of an adhesive. Likewise, it is also highly effective in cleaning electronic circuit boards post printing and is an excellent product for tape head cleaning, removal of fluxes, light oils, and white mineral residue.
If you require rapid evaporation, such as paint preparation, the 100% IPA version is recommended. On the other hand, where general cleaning is concerned the 70/30 wipe is recommended as the evaporation is slightly slower allowing for more contact time and greater disinfecting results.

How does it work? IPA solutions penetrate the cell wall and denatures the cell proteins, which as a result kills the microorganism. Extra water content slows evaporation, therefore increasing surface contact time and enhancing effectiveness.
