The Solder Tip Brass Curls Cleaner with Holder is ideal for use with soldering irons that do not have a receptacle designed to hold brass wool. Brass wool/curls are designed for cleaning excess solder and dirty flux residues from soldering iron tips, it is especially recommended for lead free processing where the temperatures are hotter than conventional lead based soldering. The Solder Tip Brass Curls Cleaner with Holder do not thermally shock the soldering iron tip as is the case with a wet sponge.
