S60DS061 Thermaltronics Soldering Tip SSC-673A (0.177″). The S60DS061 tip can be used with the following soldering systems:
- Thermaltronics TMT-2000PS
- The Metcal® SP200
- Metcal® PS900
- Metcal® MFR-PS1100
- MFR-PS2200
S60DS061 uses Curie point technology to ensure that the temperature is guaranteed to be consistent, this means that calibration is not required. With today’s complex electronic assemblies, temperature accuracy is a consistent challenge. Component density, lead size and thermally sensitive components all combine to increase process control demands. A criteria which many systems fail to meet. Thermaltronics CHT is different, as it responds to the thermal demands of each solder joint by adjusting the power instantaneously. This allows it to meet the exact requirements of the substrate component and solder material
