Disposable 3 Ply Face Masks – Pack of 50 are quality non-woven face masks that are intended to cover the nose and mouth in order to minimise the incidence of cross-infection and reduce the impact of airborne viruses.
When someone talks, coughs or sneezes they can release tiny drops into the air that can infect other people. If the infected person wears a facemask, it can reduce the number of germs that the wearer releases, which can protect other people from becoming sick. Disposable 3 ply face masks can be used to help prevent harmful airborne substances from entering the body through the nose and mouth and also to prevent pathogens and germs being spread by the wearer. When used as part of a full PPE regime including hand washing, hand sanitising, alcohol cleaning, temperature measurement the risk of contracting a virus is massively reduced. The use of face coverings is now mandatory on public transport because of the benefits detailed above and to ultimately reduce the ‘R’ value of the pandemic.

Use of 3 ply disposable face masks: –
- wash your hands with soap and water (or sanitiser) before touching the mask
- remove the mask from it’s packaging and ensure it is in good, non-damaged, condition
- the blue side is the outer side
- the flexi nose strip should be upper most
- place the elastic flexi-strips over the ears
- mould the flexi nose strip to achieve a comfortable fit
- pull down the bottom of the mask to extend it over the chin
Removal should be carried out as follows: –
- wash hands with soap and water (or sanitiser) before touching the mask
- remove the mask by holding the ear straps
- immediately place in the designated bin
- wash hands with soap and water (or sanitiser) after touching the mask
