De-mineralised water is suitable for wetting sponges when cleaning soldering tips to prolong the life of the tip. The purified water removes traces of chemicals and minerals that can otherwise decrease the life of the solder tip. Ideal for use with our Thermaltronics sponges for tip cleaning.
