NeoDen 4 Component Tape Feeder
The NeoDen 4 Component Tape Feeder is designed to provide consistent SMD component presentation to the pick-up nozzle of the NeoDen 4 Pick and Place machine. Comprising of 2 parts, the metal front assembly is the indexing motor to automatically drive the tape to the correct position for the component to be collected by the pick-up nozzle, the rear plastic section is the peel-back motor to ensure the tape cover foil is removed to allow access to the component. NeoDen 4 Component Tape Feeders are available in 4 sizes to accommodate for different component tape widths:
- 8mm
- 12mm
- 16mm
- 24mm
Technological Features – Neoden 4 Component Tape Feeder
The NeoDen 4 Component Tape Feeders incorporate the following technological features that are normally only available in SMT placement equipment of much higher cost: –
- Electrical indexing to ensure accurate component pick-up
- Motorised peel-back of the component cover tape
- Plug in, teach and use operation
- Variable indexing
- Simply select the feeder to match the tape width and the rest is configurable within the system
